The British countryside in the summer is such a vibrant place, today I will share with you two local spots to go for an adventure. Perfect for the travelling couple, some fun, or just to get stunning landscape images!
Poppies are always a spectacular sight, especially for Landscape photographers in the British summertime. This year has been no exception with a usual haunt for Poppies in Berkshire and surrounding areas. I bypassed these fields on my way to Newbury recently, and it certainly was a beautiful sight and a rare good find!
Also, I don't think I have ever seen poppies grow here before too, so it's not busy there with other photographers. I would like to get back and try to catch better light at sunrise one day, as I imagine a sunrise would be truely epic here in this location.
Sometimes it's hard finding these fields, I know I tried for a while to find decent poppy fields, never mind the white poppy fields I found!
“Photography is a love affair with adventure”
I know what you are thinking 'ENOUGH chit-chat… Show me the locations' ?!
TOP TIP > Simply drive to Pangbourne college, if you face the entrance (and haven't already seen the beautiful white fields), pretty much most of the fields around to you're left will have white poppies in.
TOP TIP > Simply drive to East Grafton location I have saved for you, you can actually park in the field (this is a farmers field, so please be courteous), the fields will be in on your left and righthand side.
